Soulja Boy did NOT kill hip hop!!!
Chop did ---> <-- Soulja Boy made it a lil better. If you compare it to this. You cannot lie, THIS was the jam in 2002/2003. Every time it came on we couldn't wait til the break down. Everyone was chopping in the air. Dont front. Kelvin Gaines my BFF aka CaL had thee BesT chop game. LOL.

Hey.,Sis I know you dont know this., but I remember back in high school., going too the house parties!! Back when spitting and rapping and stuff was just starting out I had this buddy Dwayne he could really get down on the Mic and shit. We used too hang out in the basements smoke weed, and try and hook up with the ladies. Pretty much rap and hip is pretty much the same except for the new technology, rappers are able too express how they feel in videos and blogs and stuff fancy cars., ladies., and gold jewelry making money a expression of the good life., I can definitely relate but sometimes the violence is a little too much

Soulja boy didn't kill hip hop but he damn sure didn't help it. All his songs need to be on Kids Bop or some shit. He's a "pop rapper", not "hip hop". There's a difference.
